The Commission on Audit Regional Office VI honors the 2020 Outstanding Team with Outstanding Audit Report and three COANs for their 40 years in service.
Ms. Diorelyn Menez and Ms. Geraldine Hibaler were nominated as the regional representative for the Incentive for an Audit Team with Outstanding Audit Report for the 2020 Search for Outstanding COA Officials and Employees. On May 6, 2021, 122nd COA Anniversary Celebration concluded with Ms. Menez and Ms. Hibaler emerging victorious in obtaining the award. Three COA Retirees were also given the honor for their 40 years of loyalty in service. The recognition was awarded last August 23, 2021, at the COA Regional Office VI headed by COA RO VI Regional Director, Dir. Merne Peñaranda and Asst. Regional Director, Dir. Daisylyn Tavarro. Atty. Anna Lydette Girado, OIC-RSA of Corporate Government Sector Clusters 3,5 & 6 was also present during the event. The awards were given to Mr. Pablo Bolivar, Ms. Bonifacia Lee, and Ms. Mary Jane Lacson.

Mr. Pablo Bolivar first entered COA on March 2, 1981, and concluded his 40 years of honorable service last July 1, 2021. Mr. Bolivar retired as a State Auditor II of the Corporate Government Sector.

On June 16, 1980, Ms. Bonifacia Lee started her 41-year journey with the Commission on audit. She retired as part of the Office of Regional Director last July 1, 2021, as State Auditor IV.

Completing the list of honorable retirees is Ms. Mary Jane Lacson who started her COA path on January 3, 1980, and has served the Commission for 41years. She retired as State Auditor II of the National Government sector last January 18, 2021.
These awards were given as a sign of homage to the great men and women who dedicated most of their lives and some who are still in service to the Commission on Audit with utmost integrity and perseverance.
