_{Participants during the CY 2020 year End Assessment and Planning Zoom Conference}

On February 10, 2021, the Regional Office, through the initiative of the Office of the Assistant Regional Director, has conducted a webinar on the CY 2020 LGS (Local Government Sector) Year End Assessment and Planning Conference. The said conference was participated by a total of 94 participants in Region 6 which is composed of Supervising Auditors, OIC – Supervising Auditors, Audit Team Leaders, OIC – Audit Team Leaders, Audit Team Members and Staff.

The conference focused on the assessment of accomplishments made by the LGS for CY 2020 on the submission of Annual Audit Reports (AARs)/Management Letters (MLs) and Annual Financial Reports (AFRs), discussion on the LGS Audit Thrusts Areas for  CY 2020, observations on the issuance of Independent Auditor’s Report, and common errors noted in the review of AARs/MLs and AFRs, which were discussed by Assistant Regional Director Daisylyn T. Tavarro, and Ms. Mary Elma T. Arlanza, Staff-Office of the ARD. Regional Director Merne T. Peñaranda also graced the conference with her invaluable insights and knowledge on the topics taken up.
