Director Marilou M. Rizarri

Director Marilou M. Rizarri assumed office as Regional Director of COA Region VI on March 1, 2023.  Prior to this assignment, she was the Regional Director of Region VII.  Director Rizarri joined COA in 1984 as an Auditing Staff with a position of an Auditing Examiner II.  She moved up the ladder and went on to be designated as a Unit Head, Audit Team Leader, Training Specialist, Regional Administrator, Regional Cluster Director, Supervising Auditor, and Assistant Regional Director, prior to her promotion as Director IV in 2020.

Director Rizarri is a Certified Public Accountant.  She obtained her bachelor’s degree, Bachelor of Science in Commerce-Major in Accounting from the University of San Carlos in Cebu City.  She also holds a Master of Management (Public Service Management) from the University of San Jose Recoletos, also in Cebu City.
