“Maganda ang pasok sa kanila nang bagong taon.” Director Peñaranda quipped as she opened the oathtaking ceremony of the new batch of promoted COA RO VI Employees.

In a memorandum dated December 21, 2021, seventeen COA RO VI were promoted. Of the seventeen, fifteen of the newly promoted batch took oath on the first day of office, January 3 of the year 2022. 

Olive D. De La Paz, Diorelyn Meñez, and Mary Grace Sevilla, promoted as State Auditor IV; Mary Elma T. Arlanza, Robert Jade D. Dabandan, Elberto J. Hubag, Mylene B. Magsipoc, Ma. Teresa O. Piccio and Jed Dares P. Tonogan, promoted as State Auditor III; and Joebert C. Encio, Chem J. Huervana, Janjan V. Loberes, Jowenna M. Mateo, Mary Grace S. Sareno, and Mario L. Suganob, promoted as State Auditor I kicked off the new year as they assumed office as the first batch of promoted COA RO VI employees for the year. Atty. Ro Ann Marie H. Gumban-Marcelino and Genevieve S. Tersol were also promoted as State Auditor III and State Auditor I, respectively.

The oathtaking was administered by COA RO6 Regional Director, Director Merne T. Peñaranda, and Asst Regional Director, Director Daisylyn T. Tavarro, at the COA Regional Office VI Auditorium, and witnessed by CGS  1&2- Water Districts OIC-SA Atty. Enrique Jungco Jr., NGS Cluster 1-4 OIC-RSA Ma. Cecilia Ortega, NGS Clusters 6 &8 OIC-RSA Gloria Melba Joy Payofelin and ATFS OIC-Service Chief Cristine Gay Liza.

The batch of newly promoted COA Employees pledged to uphold their commitment as enablers in promoting good governance, transparency, integrity, and accountability and continue leading the fight against corruption.
